Edwin Perez - Assignment #2

this i thought was a very successful b&w picture of stepho cause there are a lot of features on his face that contrast his skin and then his hoody sticks out from the wall since the back is all dark. my favorite thing about his picture is that his hair and eyebrows are the darkest thing in the picture.

This is an empty building in Chinatown and the contrast between the building and the sky is perfect. not only that but the broken window in the middle of the building is as dark as the background almost serving as a focal point.

The Chinatown entrance was sooo full of lights and immediately I knew that this would turn into a great b&w photo. The chinatown entrance is so light up and stands out from the sky, once again, perfectly.

This final photo was taken at the entrance of the Dumbarton Oaks Garden. The way the light shines through and the way shadows are cast was very successful. Not only that, but the contrast between the plants and the windows also worked very well.
